Husbandry

At Mahalakshmi, husbandry is the science of caring and breeding of animals like cows, buffaloes, bulls and oxes for the development of genetic traits such as high yielding, disease resistance, etc.,that are valuable to human beings. 
In other words it is the management and care of animals in which the genetics, quality and behavior of animals are developed for profit. Since these animals provide human beings with a large variety of high nutritional things, this is why they need special care. 
In dairy farming the primary concern is long term production of milk so that once processed the milk can provide products like curd, cheese, yogurt, butter. Cream etc., 
The primary concern of Mahalakshmi Dairy Farm is to take care of animals against any disease, and hence the animals are regularly checked by the veterinary doctors.
